This database of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) is a comprehensive resource, covering all SOEs’ transactions reported through the EITI since 2017. With data on approximately 100 SOEs, the database uses best practice UUIDs (universally unique identifiers) to allow for time series analysis and interoperability with international databases.
The database draws on disclosures submitted to the EITI from implementing countries and is regularly updated. The data includes:
- Payments to governments disaggregated per revenue stream (GFS coded)
- Links to published audited financial statements
- Links to stock exchange listings
- Commodities sold by SOEs
Available data
Users can filter data by country, company or sector, or access pre-set queries tailored to specific user needs. More technical users can query the database directly using SQL (structured query language) or through the EITI’s API (application programming interface).Or explore the full database
